Tooling boards take place of wood and metal in the projects of patterns,models, molds, fixtures and jigs.They are lighter and much cheaper than steel and aluminum.They also do not suffer from the grain and poor dimensional stability of wood.
Tooling boards can be bonded together to form larger blanks and large blocks.The board materials are easily CNC machined with low dust formation.
